A Boise Idaho man filed a claim against Boise Police for excessive force involving a Taser used on the man after he was handcuffed.

BOISE, Idaho – An Eagle law firm has filed a tort claim with the city of Boise on behalf of a man who police shocked with a stun gun while he was handcuffed.

Last week, the Boise Police ombudsman reported that two officers acted inappropriately and used excessive force when apprehending a suspect in February. Officers used a Taser on the man’s buttocks after he was handcuffed and threatened to use the stun gun on his genitals.
