The Boise State Broncos are a juggernaut non-bcs school, but they are facing a tough task in this rematch from last year. The Broncos defeated the Ducks 37-32, convincingly at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Or and this year are facing the Ducks on their home field. The Ducks had their 4th string QB on the field for the entire second half and almost came back from the deficit, as Darron Thomas led the Ducks on consecutive scoring drives to cut the lead to 37-32. Oregon has not lost a season opener since 2003, when they were upset at home by an inferior Indiana squad. The Broncos play a weak schedule and this should be the defining game of the season. Oregon is not going to beat themselves this year, and I don’t see them losing this one. They are ready this time around, and they are carrying a chip on their shoulder from last year’s game.
